Valentines Day - YOU ARE NOT ALONE (Thursday, January 13, 2011 / 10:32 PM)
This is my rant for Valentine's Day.
It all started as a joke when my friends say "You are going to be alone for valentines Day".
Honestly it kind of hit me really low.
Yes I get it I am going to be alone for Valentines Day!!!
While most of my friends celebrate Valentines Day with their loved ones I will probably be staying at home like watching TV.I know how sucky right.
People say I am too stubborn,too overpowering and just too choosy.
One of my friends told me "You should have chose one of the guys who told you that they liked you"
In my defense, I maybe too overpowering as a person but thats because growing up I have always seen how my parents got taken advantage of and how life has been tough.Since I was 8 years old I have been given a lot of responsibilities and all of those have made me a strong person.I don't take shit from people,If people don't show concern for me I don't see why I should care about them,I have just been stronger.If you are going to ask me to change my attitude so that I can get a guy!!! I am gonna ask you not to bother talking to me about this.
I thought you are suppose to love someone for who the person is right ????
I am a true romantic by heart.I believe that Love is a magic that can happen anywhere and anytime and I am waiting for it.I don't want to go finding for love because I believe that love will come finding for me.Till then I rather stay single and enjoy my single life with my friends.
I am annoyed by people who say that I have to change my attitude in order to get a guy.I am positive one day I will find someone who truly loves me.
Just so some people have boyfriends they don't have any right to tell anyone single"Gosh I bet you feel lonely during valentines Day"Everyone will fall in love one day its just a matter of time.
And My Homie Naz told me "People who wait gets the best reward":)
So for all the single ones out there:) Don't worry You are not alone:)
